TechFirst Explorers at Kings Priory School

This month, we had the privilege of hosting the TechFirst Explorers event at Kings Priory School—an exciting day dedicated to Cyber Security and digital innovation!

Year 7 pupils embraced the challenge, diving into a variety of engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and build skills for the future.

The day kicked off with an inspiring keynote from Alan Wareham (DSIT), who shared valuable insights from his remarkable career journey. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to empowering Year 7 girls to explore opportunities in Cyber Security through a series of hands-on challenges, including Esports, Operation Enigma, and Patient Zero.

We were also thrilled to welcome Debra Cairns from NetDefence as our keynote speaker. Her powerful story and practical advice left students feeling motivated and ready to dream big in the tech world.

A huge thank you to our incredible STEM Ambassadors, our industry partners, and everyone who contributed to making this event such a purposeful and inspiring experience for the students.
