STEMFest 2024: Inspiring the Next Generation

STEMFest is our vibrant, cost-free event coordinated by the STEM Hub and delivered by RTC North. Designed to ignite curiosity and excitement about STEM subjects, it inspires young minds across schools in the North East and Yorkshire & Humber, paving the way for rewarding STEM careers.

This October, STEMFest took place at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, featuring an exciting Cyber/Tech Zone, where students explored cutting-edge innovations and career possibilities in technology and cybersecurity.

Organisations in the Cyber/Tech Zone included Virgin Money, Newcastle International Airport Limited, DXC Technology, Accenture, Sunderland Software City, Waterstons Ltd, NHS England, SAGE, Atom Bank, Net Defence, Tilbury Douglas, Kinewell Energy, Northumbria Police, Sunderland College, CreativeHUT, and Northumbria University—making it an extraordinary showcase of talent and innovation.
