The partnership will see RTC North continue to support ambitious science, technology and innovation-led businesses across the campus, helping them access practical advice, specialist support and routes to growth.
Sci-Tech Daresbury’s Gold Partner programme brings together a network of trusted organisations with expertise across areas including innovation, commercialisation, finance, insurance, intellectual property, legal services, marketing, research collaboration and business growth.
From its base at Sci-Tech Daresbury, RTC North will continue to support innovative companies across the North West, while contributing to its wider work with businesses across the North of England. The office provides an important regional hub for RTC North’s activity in the North West, helping companies explore funding, strengthen commercial plans, build partnerships and identify opportunities to bring new products, services and technologies to market.
The continued partnership reflects RTC North’s wider commitment to supporting innovation-led businesses across the North of England. For more than 35 years, RTC North has worked with companies, partners and regional ecosystems to help businesses innovate, grow and compete.
Sci-Tech Daresbury is home to a thriving community of science and technology businesses, combining world-class science infrastructure, collaborative support and high-quality office and laboratory space. Its Gold Partner programme helps businesses access specialist knowledge and advice at key stages of their development, reducing some of the barriers that can come with growth and scale-up.
This year’s partner network includes The University of Liverpool, The University of Manchester, Konsileo, Grant Thornton, David Antrobus Marketing, Marks & Clerk, Slater Heelis and RTC North.
Angela Smith, North West Regional Eco-System Lead at RTC North, said:
“We are really pleased to continue our Gold Partnership with Sci-Tech Daresbury for the 11th year. The campus is home to an exciting community of businesses working at the forefront of science, technology and innovation, and it is exactly the kind of environment where RTC North can add real value.
“Our role is to help businesses turn ideas into opportunities. That could mean exploring innovation funding, understanding a new market, strengthening a commercial strategy or connecting with the right expertise at the right time.
“What makes the Gold Partner programme so valuable is the range of support it brings together for businesses on the campus. Companies can access advice from trusted specialists who understand the challenges of growth, commercialisation and scale-up.
“For RTC North, continuing this partnership is an important part of our commitment to the North West innovation ecosystem and to the businesses helping shape its future.”
As a Certified B Corporation and employee-owned business, RTC North is focused on supporting growth that creates long-term value for businesses, people and places. Continuing as a Gold Partner at Sci-Tech Daresbury reflects that approach, helping ambitious companies access the support, expertise and connections they need to move forward with confidence.
