CyberNorth has secured funding for Innovation Centre #2, an exciting fully funded accelerator programme which acts as a catalyst to support aspiring cyber security innovators and businesses in the North East.

Ready to make your ripple on the Cyber Security sector? Want help either getting your cyber security idea off the ground or finding out whether it’s viable?

Running throughout February and March the programme is completely free and offers six, full day, incubator style courses for the cohort who can be in education, employment or otherwise. To register an interest joining the programme contact: hello@cybernorth.biz

Relaxed and informal, networking concept CyberSips (30th January - monthly) is back by popular demand.  Suitable for everyone working in or interested in the cyber security sector, connections, collaborations and knowledge sharing are at the heart of the events.

Securing Smart Cities discussion with Plexal, Sunderland City Hall (5th February: 12.00 - 14.00) As part of their Cyber Runway programme (a national incubator programme for cyber start-ups), Plexal will be holding an event here in the North East. The session will look at securing Smart Cities and will include talks from Sunderland City Council about their smart city plans, as well as other smart cities around the country. Trade Mission to Scotland (24-26th February 2025) A great opportunity to join the CyberNorth team to meet, connect and chat to key suppliers and businesses in the Scottish cyber security sector, with hosts CyberNorth's sister cluster, ScotlandIS. 

 

You will also get to attend Scotland's leading public sector cyber resilience conference, FutureScot.
