CyberFest with CyberNorth

We joined CyberNorth’s CyberFest event, where Jon Holden from Atom Bank and Andrew Pounder of CyberNorth joined us on stage to share the benefits of the Cyber Ambassador program. Together, we highlighted the rewarding CSR opportunities and community impact this program offers.

Sage Empower Highlights

At Sage’s Empower event, we debuted our brand-new Cyber Heist: Crack the Codes escape game. We also ran exciting sessions on Sprinters, Enigma, and a “defuse the bomb” game, engaging participants in hands-on cybersecurity challenges.

Cyber Switch Up Finals

We attended the Cyber Switch Up Finals at Sheffield Hallam University, celebrating the creativity and dedication of participants as they showcased their skills and passion for cybersecurity.

Hannah Wright, the Founder and CEO of CirKits Ltd also attended the event, Zara caught up with her and they discussed the event, Hannah said “as a STEM Ambassador and the founder of CirKits Ltd®, I was genuinely excited to be part of Cyber Switch Up 2024. The atmosphere at Sheffield Hallam University was buzzing with energy, showcasing the incredible talent and enthusiasm for cyber skills among students from across Yorkshire and the Humber.

It was such a rewarding experience to share our ComponentBuilder® teaching resource, enhanced by our Augmented Reality app. This tool really sparks curiosity and encourages hands-on learning for all students who are passionate about technology. By helping them grasp the key concepts behind building a cyber-secure gaming PC, we’re making technology more relatable and engaging for everyone, regardless of their learning style.

This event truly underscored how vital it is to nurture digital skills in our youth. Watching the finalists tackle complex challenges with creativity and determination was nothing short of inspiring. It reinforced my belief that with the right tools and support, we can empower the next generation of cyber professionals and innovators.”  We are looking forward to working closley with Hannah in our Yorkshire and Humber region in 2025.
