A Busy Month of Events

The team have been out and about this month, spreading the word far and wide about the wonderful CyberFirst program, networking and recruiting Cyber Ambasadors.

We attended Cyber White’s recent Cyber Security Conference at Ramside Hall Hotel.  We would like to extend out thanks to David Horn for the invite.  It was amazing to see so many Cyber Ambassadors in attendance to!

We also joined colleagues at The West Yorkshire Supply Chain Showcase at The Royal Armouries’ in Leeds.  A room full of West Yorkshire SMEs, a fantastic day with real impact.

We had a great time at St James' Park in Newcastle for the ICT for Education conference! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with educators and hear talks from industry leaders, expanding our CyberFirst network within the educational community. It was a great chance to engage in insightful discussions and share our strategies on integrating cybersecurity into education. We're excited to bring these new connections and involve them further to enhance our programs. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so valuable! It was fantastic to hear from our own Sarah Zaman, who delivered an insightful talk on CPD courses and the role of cybersecurity in education.

You might have also seen us this month at The Aspire Cyber Summit 2024 at the Hilton Newcastle/Gateshead, or at The Leeds Cyber Security Conference held at the Northern Ballet. 

Throughout these events the team connected with inspiring people from the cyber world and had some great conversations about the potential for many to become Cyber Ambassadors.
